The East Hartford Hornets program now offers scholarships to former youth football players and cheerleaders. Players must be High School Seniors planning on attending college. Scholarship Rules
The East Hartford Hornet youth program is offering scholarships in the amount of $500.
Each scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship with no restrictions to race, color, creed, gender, religion or national origin.
Each scholarship is intended for use toward first year tuition and/or fees at an educational institution as described in Criteria section. Criteria:
Applicant must be a graduating member of the class of 2018.
Applicant must have participated in the East Hartford Hornets Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization for at least 3 years.
Applicant must demonstrate leadership and involvement in his or her community.
Applicant must have maintained a high school career grade point average of 3.0 or Above.
Applicant must have competed in at least one varsity sport during high school.
The Deadline is April 15th, 2018 at 5:00pm. Applications received after 5:00pm will not be considered.
