REGISTRATION FOR CHEER SEASON 2026 IS NOW CLOSED 

  $225 Registration Fees include the following items:

• Registration

• Uniforms:

  • Short sleeve top & skirt set for warm weather games & Competition 

  • Jacket & pants set for cold weather games

  • 3 Cheer Bows

 *Parents will need to purchase the required Cheerleading sneakers & undershorts separate from registration fee.. A link will be provided the first week of July. Sneakers are $40-$65 depending on size, shorts are $5-$10. 

 

2026 Youth Cheerleading Season Important Info/Dates:

2026 Season Starts 8/3/2026

*8/3, 8/5, 8/6, 8/7: 1st week of Football & Cheerleading Season 2026- practice will be 5:30pm-7:45pm at Martin Park.

*8/4: National Night Out @Alumni Park- 1047 Main St, 5pm-8pm

*8/7-8/9: Dick’s Sporting Goods 20% off Coupon weekend.

*8/11:  

   -1st week of regular practices Tues/Wed/Thur 5:30-7:45pm at Martin Park.

   -Deadline for outstanding payments to be paid in full
   -Last day to purchase Outback Steakhouse Fundraiser $25 meal tickets

*8/13: Last day for uniform fitting

*8/18: 
   -Outback Steakhouse Fundraiser Dinner 5pm-8pm 
   -Cheerleading sneaker deadline.

*8/20: Deadline for all registration paperwork to be completed & turned in

*9/1: First day of indoor practice @East Hartford Middle School- 777 Burnside Ave

*9/5: Hornets Football & Cheer Picture Day- Times TBD

*9/13: 1st of 8 games of the regular season. 

*11/8: 1st round playoffs 

*11/15: 2nd round playoffs.

*11/14: Cheer Competition @Foxwood Rainmaker Expo Center

*11/22: CTYFL Football Championship @Veterans Stadium (last day of the season)
