A link will be provided the first week of July. Cheer Summer Camp in July: FREE event where East Hartford youth can come out to meet Cheer Coaches and workout for this coming season! If you are on the fence about your child joining East Hartford Hornets Cheer Program- come out and see if its the right fit for your child. Camp will be held from 7/13/26-7/31/26 2026 Youth Cheerleading Season Important Info/Dates: Our Youth Cheerleaders cheer on the sidelines each weekend for our Hornets Tackle Football teams. In addition to cheering at the games they will perform & compete at the end of the season at CTYFL's Annual Cheerleading Competition at Foxwoods Casino. 8/3/26: Youth Cheerleading 2026 Season practices begin at Martin Park 8/3/26-8/7/26: Season Kick off- 5 nights practice, Mon-Fri from 5:30-7:45pm 8/1-8/13: Regular practice schedule- 3 nights/week, Tue-Thur from 5:30-7:45pm 9/6/26: 1st Football games kick off 11/14/2026: Annual CTYFL Cheerleading Competition at Foxwoods Casino 11/22/2026: Football Championship (This is also the last day of the 2026 Football/Cheerleading Season)
